Finding a healthy, REAL sweetener is no easy task! Luckily, dates are nature’s candy and are loaded with fiber, making them a no-brainer choice for natural sweetness! I originally used Date Paste instead of agave or maple syrup in other raw dessert recipes to better control my blood sugar spikes. Enjoy this amazingly smooth and sweet paste.
Date Paste

INGREDIENTS
2 cups medjool dates, pitted
½ cup water
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy.
Helpful Hint: This recipe can be stored in your refrigerator for 2 weeks, or in the freezer for up to a month. If you do store it in the freezer, be sure to give it time to thaw before adding it your recipes.
