Oatmeal raisin cookies are special treats that will never go out of style! For that very reason, I have created a recipe that is for “big kids” like you and me, as well as little ones. With the sweetness from the dates, the chunky texture from the walnuts and oats, and the hint of cinnamon flavor these things are just so darn good!
Process all ingredients, except optional raisins, in food processor until well combined, but still chunky. Mix in additional raisins and shape dough into balls or cookies.

If you would like your cookies to be a little sweeter substitute vanilla bean with vanilla extract.
