Last week a client of mine at Marquis Pilates & Fitness said that he was looking to make his wife’s birthday extra special. He had already done the work of planning a dinner cruise for her, but with all of her food allergies it wasn’t as simple as it seemed. He had to call the head chef to make sure that he understood the severity of his wife’s allergies. And although he went through all that trouble, the chef still wasn’t able to come up with a special birthday dessert except for strawberries in a champagne glass. Needless to say my client was less than impressed with that option and reached out to me.
He wasn’t really sure what to request as his wife loved most desserts but hadn’t been able to eat any in a long time. So I suggested we go with a sampler. This would allow for her to get a little taste of everything, and it would allow for easy transport since he was going to have to bring them in a cooler onto the ship. After going through all the possible options he settled on Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, Espresso Cheesecake with a Vanilla Coconut Whip Cream, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Strawberry Cheesecake. They came out so delicious and she was more than surprised!
